The course rating is 73.9 and has a slope rating of 138 on Bent grass. Designed as a walking course, its rolling wooded hills, sparkling ponds and brooks, and majestic stone outcroppings provide a relaxing, pastoral backdrop. Cart paths through much of the course are rustic wooden bridges, which protect the plant and animal life and add old world charm.
 
The beautiful 34,000 square-foot clubhouse, designed by Robert Lamb Hart with a handsome cedar roof and open expanses of glass, provides an elegant setting. Members can enjoy a delicious meal in the well-appointed formal and informal dining rooms. In addition, large stone patios offer a relaxing atmosphere for members to socialize, have a delicious meal and enjoy the surroundings.
